Antwerp's Stadspark is one of the city's oldest parks and lies right next to the centre, between Quinten Matsijslei and Van Eycklei. At the heart of the park, the central playground has been thoroughly redesigned in recent years with inclusivity as a guiding principle. Alongside classic swings and slides you will now find a wheelchair-accessible roundabout, a music wall with sound elements at different heights and a ground-level trampoline flush with the paths. It is one of the best-equipped playgrounds in central Antwerp.

Accessibility is excellent. The paths in and around the playground are fully paved, level and wide enough for a power wheelchair or a double buggy. The zone around the equipment has a poured rubber safety surface that is comfortable to roll over. An accessible toilet is located in the service building on the south side of the park, close to the playground. Shaded benches in the immediate surroundings make the park pleasant on warm summer days.

Parking nearby is limited to street spaces and the underground car parks of the city centre. By public transport the Stadspark is easy to reach via the tram lines stopping at Opera or Mechelseplein. Combine your visit with a walk through the Antwerp city centre or a museum visit nearby.
