Grand Café Horta is a unique address in Antwerp, housed in a purpose-built pavilion that incorporates original iron and glass elements from Victor Horta's demolished Volkshuis. The monumental structure creates a light, airy space with high ceilings and Art Nouveau flourishes. The café serves classic brasserie dishes, Belgian beers and lunch platters, and is popular with culture lovers after a visit to the nearby Letterenhuis or Stadsschouwburg.

Despite the building's distinctive character, accessibility is well organised. The entrance on the Hopland side is step-free and wide enough for wheelchairs. The large open interior has a level floor without height differences, so all ground-floor tables are easily reachable. An adapted toilet is available on the same level with grab bars and sufficient turning space. The staff are happy to help you choose a suitable spot.

Grand Café Horta is centrally located in Antwerp, within walking distance of the Meir and the Stadsschouwburg. The surrounding pavements are fully paved and level. For drivers, adapted parking spaces are available in the nearby Rooseveltplaats and Oudaan car parks. The nearest tram stop is Opera, less than two minutes' walk away, served by the step-free trams on lines 3, 5, 9 and 15.
