Musée des Arts anciens du Namurois
The Musée des Arts anciens du Namurois, housed in the Hôtel de Gaiffier d'Hestroy in the centre of Namur, holds an outstanding collection of medieval and Renaissance art. Highlights include the Mosan goldsmithery, notably the famous reliquary shrine of Hugo d'Oignies, and paintings by Henri Bles and other masters from the Meuse Valley.
The museum is fully wheelchair accessible following a thorough renovation. All exhibition rooms can be reached by lift and the passageways are wide enough for wheelchairs. The floors are level and paved. Adapted toilets are available on the ground floor. The museum offers audio guides and regularly organises guided tours.
The museum is located in the pedestrian zone of Namur. Parking with an accessible badge is possible at the nearby Place du Palais de Justice. The museum is free to visit on the first Sunday of each month. The museum shop is also wheelchair accessible.
