Natuurpunt Drieklerkenstraat Neerpelt
Natuurpunt Drieklerkenstraat in Neerpelt is a varied nature reserve with heathland, fens and pine forests, typical of the Campine landscape. The area is home to rare species such as the Alcon blue butterfly, the smooth snake, and various reptiles and amphibians tied to heathland ecosystems. It is an ideal spot for those seeking silence and open space, close to the Bosland routes.
An adapted walking route with a paved, barrier-free surface crosses an important part of the area. The route is suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams. Along the trail you will find viewpoints and a bird hide that can be reached via a wheelchair-accessible ramp. A simple sanitary point with a partially adapted toilet is available at the starting point.
The car park at the edge of the area offers adapted parking spaces close to the start of the adapted route, with a fully paved connection. Access to the area is free. Adapted handbike rental is available through the local partner in the Bosland network a few kilometres away, making it possible to extend the walk into a longer ride.
