Neuhaus Chocolate Museum Vlezenbeek
Neuhaus is the iconic Belgian chocolate brand that invented the praline in Brussels in 1912. In Vlezenbeek, just outside Brussels, you will find the head office and the experience centre that takes visitors into the world of artisanal Belgian chocolate. The Neuhaus Chocolate Museum showcases the rich history of the brand, the evolution of the praline and the production of these luxurious sweets, concluding with a tasting of various praline varieties.
The experience centre is modern in design with excellent wheelchair accessibility. The entrance is level and without thresholds, all exhibition spaces are barrier-free and accessible through wide passages and, where needed, a lift. Interactive installations are at ergonomic heights and are just as enjoyable from a wheelchair perspective. An adapted toilet with sufficient turning space is provided.
The site offers ample parking with PRM spaces close to the entrance. Vlezenbeek is located in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, easily reached via the R0 ring road around Brussels. A visit is by reservation and can be combined with a chocolate workshop or a guided tour of the neighbouring production facility, where adapted tours are possible on request.
