The Parc de la Source lies in the heart of Genappe and owes its name to the springs that feed the central water basin. The park was laid out in the nineteenth century in a romantic, English style and today combines flower beds, old weeping willows, fountains and a children's playground. It is the green living room of Genappe and is used year-round for events, markets and municipal festivities.

Accessibility is good: the main paths are paved and laid out flat, with rest benches placed regularly along the route. From every entrance, the central pond and the flower theatre are reachable without slopes. PMR parking spaces are provided at the main entrance along the Rue de Bruxelles, and adapted toilets are available in nearby public buildings and hospitality venues.

From the Parc de la Source you can easily walk on to the Dyle promenade that runs along the centre. For those who want to see more, a visit to this park combines well with the Battle of Waterloo site, just a short drive away. The park is freely accessible and open from sunrise to sunset.
