Parc des Sports de Wavre

The Parc des Sports de Wavre is the main sports complex of the city of Wavre and groups together an athletics track, football pitches, tennis courts and multifunctional sports halls on a spacious, green domain. In addition to the sports clubs, the park is also a pleasant place for walkers, with lawns, play zones for children and connecting paths between the various pitches.

The circulation areas and walking paths between the buildings are paved, flat and wide enough for wheelchairs, rolling walkers and strollers. At the main entrance there are reserved PMR parking spaces, and in the central sports hall adapted toilets and changing rooms are available. Stands at the athletics track have adapted seating for wheelchair users with a clear view of the field.

The park lies just south of the centre of Wavre and is well reachable both by car and by public transport. During the week it is mainly the domain of schools and clubs; at the weekend it draws a wide audience for matches, events and family outings.
