Pierre Marcolini Brussels
Pierre Marcolini is an internationally renowned Belgian chocolatier, multiple times crowned world pastry champion and known for his refined bean-to-bar approach. The flagship boutique and atelier in the Louise district of Brussels is a special destination for chocolate lovers. Visitors can discover the exclusive pralines, bars and pastries, with chocolate tastings, guided tours or workshops available by appointment, during which the philosophy of direct cocoa sourcing and artisanal production is explained.
The boutique has a modern and elegant interior, with a level entrance and step-free access to the sales and tasting area. The tables and display cases are at a good height to view from a wheelchair. The toilet provision is limited and not fully adapted; for a fully adapted toilet there are options in the surrounding horeca venues or shopping centres. The workshop space can be arranged wheelchair-friendly on request.
Parking in the Louise district is difficult but possible in car parks such as Louise-Stéphanie, which offer PRM spaces. Louise metro station is a few minutes' walk away. The elegant Avenue Louise around the boutique is flat and wheelchair-friendly. A visit combines well with other cultural sights in the area such as Egmont Park or the Sablon.
