Piscine de Ciney
The Piscine de Ciney is the town's central swimming pool, attracting schools, clubs and families from across the region. The programme includes lane swimming, swimming lessons for children, aquagym and open swimming on weekends. The complex has been modernised several times and meets current standards of comfort and safety.
The entrance is step-free and there are adapted changing rooms with enough space for a companion. A hoist makes the transfer into the water safe for wheelchair users, and an accessible toilet with shower is available. The areas around the pool have a non-slip floor and are wide enough to manoeuvre a wheelchair.
There is a car park next to the pool with reserved spaces. The complex is also well served by bus from the centre of Ciney.
