Piscine de Waterloo
The Piscine de Waterloo is the municipal swimming pool with a 25-metre sports pool, a learner and leisure pool and a toddler pool. Lane swimming, aquagym, swimming lessons and school activities fill the weekly schedule. The pool is an important sports and meeting place for the residents of Waterloo and the surrounding area.
Accessibility has been carefully addressed. The main entrance is step-free and adapted changing rooms offer space for a companion. A hoist provides a safe transfer into the water, and accessible toilets with shower are available. The areas around the pools have non-slip flooring and are wide enough for wheelchair users.
A car park with reserved spaces close to the entrance is located next to the pool. The complex is easy to reach from the centre of Waterloo and by bus.
