The Provincial Estate Vrieselhof in Oelegem, a sub-municipality of Ranst, is an extensive green estate with a small castle, ponds, forest and a textile museum. The estate is popular with walkers, cyclists and families, offering quiet paths through a varied landscape that shifts from meadows into old beech and oak woods.

The province has included Vrieselhof in its group of accessible estates, and the main walking loop is wide, flat and largely semi-paved but firm enough for wheelchairs. Accessible toilets are available at the visitor centre and the catering venue on the estate. Special viewpoints by the ponds are barrier-free thanks to adapted platforms.

The car park at the main entrance offers several disabled parking spaces a short distance from the visitor centre. The estate can be reached by call-bus services from Ranst. The combination of quiet nature, the small castle and good accessibility makes Vrieselhof an attractive destination for a half-day in the Antwerp Voorkempen region.
