The Schiervelde sports complex is the beating heart of sport in Roeselare. The extensive complex includes sports halls, an athletics track, football pitches, tennis courts and the well-known Expohal that regularly serves as an event venue for trade fairs and concerts. Schiervelde is home to top volleyball club Knack Roeselare, which plays its European top matches here. The complex is used intensively by both elite athletes and recreational clubs from the city and surrounding area.

Accessibility is well arranged for wheelchair users. The main stand of the volleyball hall has wheelchair spaces with a clear view of the court and adapted access via a lift. The sports halls and the swimming pool are reachable on the ground floor, with adapted changing rooms and lift systems where needed. Adapted toilets are available in several places throughout the complex. The city of Roeselare offers G-sports lessons including wheelchair basketball and adapted swimming.

A spacious car park with disabled parking spaces is located right at the main entrance. The complex is reachable by bus from Roeselare station, with a stop just minutes from the entrance. The paths between the various buildings are fully paved and flat, making movement between activities smooth.
