KV Kortrijk matches in a wheelchair — visit Guldensporenstadion
The Guldensporen Stadium, home of KV Kortrijk, is the main football stadium in the Kortrijk region and seats about 9,500 spectators. The stadium has been modernised in several phases, aiming to guarantee a comfortable experience for all supporters. Around the stadium lie the training pitches of the first team and the youth academy, and besides football it also hosts smaller events such as clinics and youth matches.
Accessibility was greatly improved during the latest modernisation. The main entrances are fully barrier-free, and specifically reserved wheelchair zones with good views of the pitch are located in several sectors. These zones are reached via adapted paths and lifts. Adapted toilets are available on every level. When buying tickets online, wheelchair users can choose a reserved spot, always with a free companion ticket.
The stadium car park offers several dozen PRM spaces with direct access to the wheelchair zones. By public transport, the stadium is reachable via De Lijn bus lines from Kortrijk station. The direct surroundings are level and fully paved. On match days a dedicated welcome team is available for supporters with disabilities, providing assistance from the car park to the wheelchair zone.
