Sporthal Alverberg

Sporthal Alverberg is a modern multi-purpose sports complex in Hasselt, the sporting home of Limburg province. The complex comprises multiple sports halls, an athletics track, a swimming pool and facilities for various sports. It is home to several Limburg sports clubs and hosts national and international sporting events.

The entire complex has been designed with universal accessibility in mind. All sports halls are at ground level or reachable by lift. The swimming pool has adapted changing rooms and a hoist system. The stands have reserved wheelchair spaces with good sightlines. Adapted toilets and showers are available in every section of the building. Adapted sports programmes are offered, including wheelchair basketball and boccia.

Spacious parking with accessible spaces is located right at the main entrance. The complex is well served by public transport. The sports canteen is accessible at ground level with a spacious terrace.
