Stadsbibliotheek Kris Lambert Oostende

The Stadsbibliotheek Kris Lambert is Ostend's central public library, housed in a modern building near the station. It offers a very extensive collection of books, comics, magazines, CDs, DVDs and digital media. There are study rooms, workspaces and a spacious children's section. Lectures, workshops and exhibitions are held regularly.

The building is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and a spacious lift serves all floors. The spaces between the shelves are wide enough to manoeuvre comfortably. Accessible toilets are provided on every floor. Computer workstations and study corners are at an accessible height.

The library is centrally located in Ostend, close to the railway station and the shopping streets. Parking is available in the nearby station car park with adapted spaces. The library is excellently served by public transport, including the coastal tram.
