♿ Wheelchair accessible

The City Park of Tienen is a green oasis in the middle of the city. The park offers shady walking paths, well-maintained lawns, and beautiful flower beds. It is a popular spot for families, athletes, and walkers who want to enjoy nature without leaving the city. In the park you will also find a playground and benches along the paths.

The main paths in the city park are paved and wide enough for wheelchair users. The entrances are step-free and there are resting points with benches along the route. An adapted toilet is available near the park entrance. The paths are well maintained and easily navigable even after rain.

Parking spaces are available at the edge of the park, including reserved accessible spaces. The park is a short distance from the centre and well reachable by public transport. The City Park is an excellent starting point for a relaxed wheelchair walk in Tienen.
