UGC De Brouckère Brussels
UGC De Brouckère is an iconic cinema in the heart of Brussels, on the square of the same name. The complex has 12 screens and is one of the oldest cinemas still in operation in the city. UGC De Brouckère is known for its impressive Art Deco architecture and shows both blockbusters and French and Belgian films in their original versions.
The cinema is fully wheelchair-accessible. The main entrance is step-free and all screens are reachable by lift. Every screen has several wheelchair spaces on a flat section with a good view of the screen; online or on-site reservation is recommended. Adapted toilets are available on every floor. Wheelchair users receive a reduced rate and their companion is admitted free on presentation of a disability card.
The cinema lies in the Brussels pedestrian zone and is excellently served by public transport. The De Brouckère metro station (lines 1 and 5) is fully equipped with lifts and is just a few steps from the entrance. Reduced-mobility parking spaces are available in the Grand Place-Centre and Grand Place-Plaisirs car parks within walking distance. The flat pedestrian zone around the cinema also makes for a pleasant city visit before or after the film.
