♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Waux-Hall is the oldest and best-known city park of Mons, located a stone's throw from the Grand Place. Dating from the 18th century, the park offers an oasis of green with a pond, a bandstand, flower beds and mature trees. It is a favourite spot for a relaxing stroll in the city centre.

The main paths in the park are paved and level, suitable for wheelchair users. The path around the pond is fully accessible and offers a pleasant circular walk of approximately 500 metres. Benches are placed generously throughout the park. Portable toilet facilities are seasonally available.

Accessible parking spaces are available at the edges of the park. The park is free to enter and makes an ideal resting point during a city visit to Mons. In summer, concerts and events are regularly held at the bandstand.
