B&B Zavel Antwerp

B&B Zavel is a stylish bed & breakfast in a renovated townhouse in the historic heart of Antwerp, within walking distance of the Grote Markt and the Cathedral. The house offers only a handful of rooms and focuses on personal service, authentic 19th-century details and a generous breakfast with regional products. A quiet courtyard offers a place to unwind after a day of city exploration.

One ground-floor room has been set up as an adapted room, with a wide door, a bed at a workable height and a walk-in shower with fold-down seat and grab rails. The main entrance is step-free thanks to a recent adaptation with an integrated ramp. The breakfast area and garden are on ground level. The upper floors are only reachable via a historic staircase.

Parking in the historic centre is limited; reserved spaces can be found in the surrounding streets. Parking Grote Markt and Parking Steen are a ten-minute roll away, partly over flat strips between the cobbles. The area around B&B Zavel is partly paved with cobbles, characteristic of historic Antwerp. For a more comfortable approach, choose the route along the Scheldt quays.
