Piercing Pirate Antwerp

The Antwerp branch of Piercing Pirate is unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible. According to our first-hand feedback (2026), the shop has a high threshold at the entrance and is located in a difficult street — cobblestones and limited manoeuvring space make it effectively unreachable for wheelchair users without significant assistance.

Important context: this is regrettable because the Piercing Pirate brand itself works very well on adapted service — the Turnhout campus is, in our experience, one of the most wheelchair-accessible piercing addresses we have encountered. The contrast between the two campuses is stark.

Our recommendation for wheelchair users: if you want a piercing at Piercing Pirate, travel to Turnhout — 30 min drive from Antwerp. The service quality and adapted access there are fully in order, and you get the full Piercing Pirate team professionalism without the physical thresholds of the Antwerp location.

Future improvement: we hope that Piercing Pirate will eventually seek an adapted alternative for Antwerp (relocation, adaptation, or a second location in the city). If that happens, we will update this page.
