Brasserie du Lac is a popular restaurant on the banks of Lake Genval, a picturesque lake in the green heart of Brabant Wallon, thirty kilometres south of Brussels. The restaurant has a large terrace overlooking the lake and surrounding forest, making it a favourite destination for weekend trips from the capital. The menu is classic Belgian brasserie fare at its finest: mussels and fries, steak, seasonal salads, and a fine selection of local beers and wines. The indoor dining room is warmly decorated with wood and earthy tones.

Brasserie du Lac has paid close attention to accessibility. The entrance from the car park is completely step-free, with a wide automatic sliding door. Both the indoor dining room and the waterside terrace are accessible on one level. The terrace is paved with wide pathways between the tables. A spacious adapted toilet with grab rails and sufficient turning space is available on the ground floor. Staff routinely help wheelchair users to find a good spot on the terrace.

Brasserie du Lac is located on the Avenue du Lac in Genval, a quiet lakeside village in the municipality of Rixensart. The lake itself also gives access to paved walking paths along the shore that are suitable for wheelchairs. By car, the brasserie is easily reached via the N25 from Brussels. There is a large car park with adapted spaces on the property. By train, IC trains stop at Genval station, five minutes' walk away along a paved path beside the lake.
