Brasserie Le Clos Saint-Jacques is housed in a stately historic building in the centre of Tournai, a short distance from the Grand-Place and the cathedral. The menu is classic French-Belgian with specialities such as escargots, steak tartare, grilled Hainaut beef, and seasonal fish dishes. The interior combines authentic elements - wooden wainscoting, a large fireplace - with contemporary accents, and in summer there is an atmospheric terrace in the inner garden.

The main entrance is step-free, although the entrance door is somewhat narrower than in modern buildings. The dining room on the ground floor is divided into several smaller salons - some are spaciously laid out, others somewhat more compact. When booking, a table in the spacious ground-floor room can be requested. The adapted toilet is present but rather compact and somewhat harder to reach via a narrow corridor; if in doubt, it is recommended to contact the brasserie in advance.

The Tournai city centre is mostly paved with historic cobblestones, which can be uneven. Parking is possible at the Grand-Place Car Park two hundred metres away with reserved spaces. From Tournai Station the brasserie is reachable by wheelchair in about fifteen minutes via the main streets, parts of which have gentle inclines.
