Hotel Manoir Carpe Diem De Haan
Hotel Manoir Carpe Diem is an elegant boutique hotel housed in a distinctive Belle Époque villa on the edge of De Haan. The hotel cherishes the villa's historic architecture with stained-glass windows, decorative ironwork and authentic wooden panelling, combined with a contemporary interior in soft tones. The garden around the hotel has been redesigned with wide paved paths and offers a quiet place to have breakfast or an aperitif on warm days.
During the renovation, specific attention was given to accessibility. The main entrance is completely step-free, and an adapted ground-floor room offers a walk-in shower with fold-down seat, grab rails, a lowered washbasin and ample manoeuvring space around the double bed. The breakfast room is also on the ground floor and step-free, with plenty of room between the tables. An accessible guest toilet is provided near the reception.
The hotel is in a villa district within walking distance of the centre of De Haan and the coastal tram, which stops 400 metres away and is fully wheelchair-accessible. There is a private car park with two PRM spaces behind the hotel. The surroundings are notably flat and paved, ideal for wheelchair strolls along the distinctive villas of De Haan or towards the seafront.
