Hotel Val-Neigeux La-Roche

Hotel Val-Neigeux is an atmospheric family hotel just outside the centre of La-Roche-en-Ardenne. The hotel sits at the foot of the woods that embrace the Ourthe valley and offers a quiet place to stay for anyone exploring the Ardennes. The décor blends traditional Ardennes elements such as natural stone and wooden panelling with modern amenities. The hotel restaurant serves a refined breakfast buffet every day and, in the evening, a changing menu featuring local specialities.

During a recent renovation, the hotel was made fully accessible. The main entrance is step-free and fitted with an automatic sliding door. Two ground-floor rooms are specifically adapted for wheelchair users: they have a wide walk-in shower, grab rails at the toilet, a lowered washbasin and enough manoeuvring room next to the bed. A lift connects all floors. The restaurant and the lounge are both step-free and have wide aisles.

A spacious car park with two reserved PRM spaces is in front of the hotel. The route to the village centre is largely flat, although the final slope up to La-Roche castle must be taken with caution. The hotel staff are happy to provide information about accessible walks in the region and can prepare a picnic lunch on request.
