The Forge Roussel is a well-preserved former ironworks north of La Roche-en-Ardenne, in a natural setting along a tributary of the Ourthe. The site testifies to the early industrial history of the Ardennes, where waterpower combined with the presence of iron ore and forests led to a flourishing metalworking trade. Visitors can discover the waterwheels, the old smelting house and the tools of the former blacksmiths.

Accessibility is partial. The outdoor terrain is largely flat and the main paths are laid out with semi-paved gravel, which is easy to follow with a sporty wheelchair or sturdy rolling walker in dry conditions. Some historic buildings have narrow doorways and a small threshold, which means that only the exterior and the main hall can be visited comfortably. An adapted toilet is provided in the welcome building.

The car park at the site is flat and has several spaces for PMR visitors. La Roche-en-Ardenne is a tourist centre on the Ourthe with a spectacular feudal castle and numerous walking routes; in the centre there are several hospitality businesses with adapted facilities.
