Hotel Yser is a friendly family hotel in the centre of Spa, within walking distance of the Pouhon Pierre le Grand, the Thermes de Spa wellness centre and the main shopping street. The hotel has a homely atmosphere and has been run for years by the same family, who give personal attention to every guest. The rooms are classically furnished, and breakfast is generous with home-made products and local specialities such as the well-known Spa biscuits.

Accessibility is partial but well thought out for those who book in advance. The hotel has one adapted room on the ground floor with a wide doorway, a wheelchair-friendly bathroom with walk-in shower and grab rails, and enough turning space. Reception and the breakfast room are step-free. The other rooms on the upper floors are not reachable for wheelchair users as there is no lift. The accessible toilet by reception is open to the public during opening hours.

Parking is possible at the public car park a few minutes from the hotel; ideally reserve an accessible space at the Place Royale. The approach is level with a few gentle slopes, typical of the spa town. Spa station is fifteen minutes' wheeling away on solidly paved pavements. State explicitly when booking that you need the adapted room, as only one is available.
