Restaurant Mont-Saint-Aubert Mons
Restaurant Mont-Saint-Aubert sits on the higher plateau to the south-east of Mons, close to Parc du Mont Panisel. The venue was thoroughly refurbished in 2019 and combines a contemporary look with a traditional Hainaut kitchen, with classics such as boudin de Bergen, faisan a la brabanconne and rabbit in regional sauce. On clear days, the panoramic terrace offers views well beyond Mons.
Accessibility has been thoughtfully arranged. The entrance has a gentle ramp with an automatic door. The main dining room is on a level ground floor with wide aisles. Three tables are reserved specifically for wheelchair users on request when booking. The adapted toilets are new builds with ample turning space and proper grab rails. The summer terrace is reached through a barrier-free sliding door and is laid on smooth tiles.
Disabled parking spaces are right next to the entrance. Combining with a walk in Parc du Mont Panisel or a visit to the Mons Memorial Museum makes for an enjoyable day out. The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and on Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner. Reservations are recommended, especially for the terrace in summer.
