Restaurant 't Ganzenhof is a heart-warming place right next to the Gravensteen in the historic heart of Ghent. The menu features typical East-Flemish dishes such as waterzooi, beef stew with mustard bread and goose-breast fillet, but also lighter seasonal dishes and a vegetarian daily special. The space combines old whitewashed walls with wooden beams and a modern open kitchen, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere.

The entrance is at street level and step-free thanks to a small ramp that the owner has permanently installed against the pavement. The ground-floor dining room is fully reachable without stairs and the tables are spaced enough to roll comfortably between them with a wheelchair. An accessible toilet is at the back of the restaurant, with grab rails, sufficient turning room and a lowered washbasin. Booking in advance is advised, mentioning the need for a ground-floor table, as the restaurant also has an upper floor.

The surroundings are partly paved with cobbles; for a more comfortable approach, the Kraanlei offers a flatter route. Reserved parking spaces can be found at Parking Sint-Michiels. By public transport, the restaurant is reachable via low-floor tram and bus, with stops a few minutes away over a paved path.
