The BAM (Beaux-Arts Mons) is the fine arts museum of the city of Mons in the province of Hainaut. The museum is part of the CAP complex (Culture, Art et Patrimoine) and presents ambitious temporary exhibitions that place art history in a contemporary context. From old masters to contemporary art, the BAM offers a captivating artistic experience in the heart of the historic city of Mons.

Accessibility at the BAM is excellent. The museum features a lowered information desk, a lift serving all floors, and adapted PMR toilets. Parking spaces near the entrance are reserved for persons with reduced mobility. Walking chairs and wheelchairs are available at reception for visitors who need them. The exhibition spaces are generously proportioned and easily navigable by wheelchair.

The BAM is located in the centre of Mons, within walking distance of the Grand-Place and the belfry. The city of Mons was designated European Capital of Culture in 2015 and has since enjoyed a thriving cultural life. A visit to the BAM can be combined with a stroll through the historic centre or a visit to other museums in the CAP complex, such as the Mundaneum or the Mons Memorial Museum.
