♿ Wheelchair accessible

BPS22 is the art centre of the Province of Hainaut, housed in a beautifully renovated industrial building from 1911 in the centre of Charleroi. The centre focuses on contemporary art with particular attention to the relationship between art and society. Regularly changing exhibitions showcase both local and international artists.

The building is fully wheelchair accessible. The entrance is step-free and the exhibition spaces are spaciously designed, making it easy to navigate with a wheelchair. Adapted toilets are available and a lift connects the different floors. Parking spaces for persons with reduced mobility are located in the immediate vicinity of the building.

BPS22 is located in the heart of Charleroi, near Charleroi-Sud station. The centre is easily reachable by public transport and can be combined with a visit to other cultural institutions in the city, such as the Musée de la Photographie or the Quai 10 cinema complex.
