Blegny-Mine is a former coal mine in the municipality of Blegny, near Liege, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with three other Walloon mining sites. It is one of the rare European coal mines where visitors can descend into the underground galleries at -30 and -60 metres depth. Above ground, extensive exhibitions tell the story of the miners and the industrial heritage of the Liege basin.

Accessibility at Blegny-Mine is partial. The above-ground museums, visitor centre and restaurant are wheelchair accessible, with adapted parking spaces and PMR toilets. However, the descent into the underground galleries is not possible for wheelchair users due to the mine lift cage and narrow tunnels. The above-ground exhibition nevertheless provides a comprehensive experience with scale models, audiovisual presentations and original mining machinery that complete the story.

Blegny-Mine is located 20 minutes' drive north-east of Liege and is easily reached via the E40. In addition to the mine visits, the site offers a tourist train, a playground and a restaurant. In summer you can take a ride on the historic little train through the surrounding countryside. A visit to Blegny-Mine can be combined with a trip to the nearby Fort of Barchon or the orchards of the Herve region.
