♿ Wheelchair accessible

Boudewijn Seapark is a popular theme park and animal park in Sint-Michiels, Bruges. The park opened its doors in 1963 and is named after King Baudouin. The main attraction is the dolphinarium, opened in 1972, where spectacular dolphin shows take place daily. In addition, the park offers numerous rides, an ice rink, a water park and a zoo with seals and other animals. It is an ideal family destination for a full day of entertainment.

Wheelchair accessibility is good. The park is largely accessible by wheelchair. The dolphinarium shows are suitable for wheelchair users: a lift in the dolphinarium provides access to a special platform in the stands, particularly suited for wheelchair users. Adapted toilets are available, and the car park has sufficient disabled parking spaces.

If you need a wheelchair during your visit, you can borrow one on the day of your visit with your identity card as a deposit. Advance reservation is required via info@boudewijnseapark.be. The dolphinarium and animal park performances are well accessible and offer a unique experience for visitors of all ages and mobility levels. Boudewijn Seapark combines entertainment, education and animal encounters in an accessible way.

Good to know

Reservation
Buying tickets online gives a discount and avoids queues at the ticket office. Borrowing a wheelchair on site is possible against a deposit of an identity card, but reservation via info@boudewijnseapark.be is required.
Busy and quiet times
Busiest during school holidays (especially July-August) and on sunny weekends. Weekdays in May, June and September are more pleasant.
Things to note
Most of the park is wheelchair accessible; in the dolphinarium a lift leads to a dedicated wheelchair platform. Some ride queues are narrow and require a companion.
Visit tip
Check the dolphin show times in advance and plan your day around them. Combine with a visit to the centre of Bruges - the park is in Sint-Michiels, just outside the city core.
