Brasserie de Silly in the Hainaut village of the same name is an authentic family brewery that has been run by successive generations of the Meynsbrughen family since 1850. The brewery is known for its classic Saison Silly, the dark Scotch Silly and the typically Belgian La Divine. During a tour, visitors learn about the brewing process, the rich family history and the characteristics of their varied beer range, followed by a tasting in the cosy tasting room.

The public areas of the brewery are well suited to wheelchair users. The entrance to the visitor centre is level, the reception room and the tasting room have no thresholds and most of the tour route on the ground floor is easy to navigate. An accessible toilet is available. The warm family atmosphere ensures a personal approach on every tour.

There is ample parking on site with spaces close to the entrance. Silly is set in a rural area, most easily reached by car via the N57 between Ath and Enghien. Tours are by appointment; when booking, you can mention that a wheelchair user will be joining, so the route and tasting can be prepared to suit.
