Centre Culturel de Bastogne
The Centre Culturel de Bastogne is the most important cultural player in the Ardennes town and programmes theatre, concerts, dance, cinema and exhibitions. The centre maintains strong ties with schools and local associations and offers a varied programme that appeals to children, young people and adults alike. An important pillar is the summer entertainment and the annual commemorations around the Battle of the Bulge.
The building has been renovated in recent years with attention to universal accessibility. The main entrance is at ground level, a lift connects all public floors, and the theatre hall has reserved seats for wheelchair users with a clear view of the stage. Adapted toilets are available on the ground floor, as are an adapted reception desk and cloakroom.
The car park in front of the building is flat with PMR spaces; additional car parks lie within walking distance in the centre of Bastogne. The cultural centre is a good base for an evening out, in combination with a visit to the Bastogne War Museum or the Mardasson Memorial during the day.
