♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Collégiale Notre-Dame is the most recognisable building in Dinant. The Gothic church with its striking pear-shaped tower stands literally between the Meuse and the cliff on which the citadel rests. Inside, beautiful stained-glass windows, an impressive organ and artworks testify to the centuries-old bond with the town.

Accessibility is partial because of the building's historic character. The main entrance has a gentle ramp that can be managed with assistance, and once inside most of the nave is level. The choir and side chapels sometimes lie a little higher with a few steps. There are no public toilets inside the church itself.

Parking is possible along the banks of the Meuse and on the nearby squares, where some reserved spaces are available. The church is within walking distance of the railway station and other sights in the centre.
