Domaine de Forgeval Fosses-la-Ville
The Domaine de Forgeval is a green recreational area in Fosses-la-Ville, south of Namur. The site was laid out around a large pond that formed on the location of a former industrial site. Today the domain is a pleasant meeting place for walkers, anglers, families with children and sports enthusiasts, who will find a fitness trail and playground here.
Accessibility is well provided. A paved, flat promenade runs around the central pond and can be followed entirely with a wheelchair or rolling walker. Rest benches are placed regularly along the route, and in several places adapted fishing platforms are available for people with reduced mobility. Sanitary facilities are available in season, with an adapted toilet at the welcome building.
The car park is free and flat, with multiple PMR spaces close to the main entrance. The domain is just minutes from the centre of Fosses-la-Ville and combines well with a visit to the Saint-Feuillen Collegiate Church, the heart of the old town. During the summer the municipality regularly organises events and family Saturdays here.
