Eyezone Brussels Photography
Eyezone Brussels Photography is a contemporary photo gallery in the centre of Brussels, dedicated to contemporary visual culture and documentary photography. The space programmes rotating exhibitions by Belgian and international photographers, with attention for social themes, portraiture, travel photography and photojournalism. The gallery regularly organises artist talks, lectures and workshops that bring the public closer to the work and the makers. In the heart of the Sablon quarter, Eyezone is a stimulating addition to Brussels's rich museum offer.
Accessibility is well arranged. The entrance is on the ground floor with a slight ramp, and the exhibition route is fully wheelchair friendly. The galleries are spaciously laid out and the works are hung at readable height. An adapted toilet is available in the building. The staff provide assistance on request and can give extra information about the works on display. During openings and events, attention is paid to passage for wheelchair users.
Parking is difficult in the immediate area of the Sablon quarter; it is best to use the Sablon or Poelaert underground car park, both with disabled parking spaces. The gallery is well served by Central Station metro stop, just minutes' walk away, and by various tram and bus lines. Be aware of some cobblestone sections in the Sablon quarter. Combine a visit with Notre-Dame du Sablon or the antique shops on the Grand Sablon.
