Keramis is the Centre de la Céramique of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels, housed in the former Boch faience factory in La Louvière. This remarkable museum tells the story of the ceramics industry that for centuries formed the heart of the city. In addition to a permanent collection of historic ceramics, Keramis also organises exhibitions of contemporary ceramic art.

The museum is excellently accessible for wheelchair users. The building has been modernly renovated with step-free entrances and a lift serving all floors. The exhibition spaces are spacious and clearly arranged. Adapted toilets are available and the information desk is placed at an accessible height.

Keramis is located in the centre of La Louvière, near the Centre de la Gravure. Parking is available in the immediate area with reserved spaces for persons with reduced mobility. The museum is also well reachable by public transport from La Louvière station.
