♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Public Library of Geel is a modern municipal facility with an extensive collection of books, comics, magazines, films, music and digital resources. There is a separate youth section with a reading corner, workstations with internet access and regular activities such as reading clubs, author talks and workshops for young and old.

The library is easily accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and the aisles between the shelves are wide. A lift connects the floors so all sections are reachable. An accessible toilet is available and staff are happy to help with reaching books on higher shelves.

Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. The library lies centrally in Geel, within walking distance of the Markt. Consider combining your visit with an outing to the Sint-Dimpnabasiliek or the nature reserve Watering der Twee Nethen for a full day in Geel.
