Pre-en-Pail Sankt-Vith

Pre-en-Pail is a quiet nature and walking area near Sankt-Vith in the Belgian East Cantons. The site lies on the High Fens plateau and offers wide views over meadows, stream valleys and woodland. The surroundings are popular with hikers and nature lovers seeking the silence of the Ardennes, and connect via local walking loops to the centre of Sankt-Vith.

Accessibility is partial: from the main entrance there is a paved loop that wheelchair users and rollator walkers can follow easily in dry weather. Further into the area the paths turn into semi-paved or grass field routes, which may be less suitable for independent wheelchair users. Elevation differences remain limited on the main loop.

A car park with disabled parking spaces is available at the entrance. In the centre of Sankt-Vith, just a few minutes drive away, visitors will find accessible toilets at the tourist office and in the cafes and restaurants around the Hauptstrasse. The combination of a short wheelchair-friendly loop and the authentic East Cantons character makes Pre-en-Pail a pleasant stop during a visit to the region.
