B&B Le Pre Fleuri Vielsalm

B&B Le Pre Fleuri sits a few hundred metres from Lac des Doyards in Vielsalm, in the heart of the East Belgian Ardennes. The guest accommodation is housed in a free-standing outbuilding of a renovated Ardennes square farmhouse, surrounded by flower meadows and the adjoining woodland edge. Breakfast is served in the main house and includes a generous selection of Ardennes charcuterie, cheeses and home-baked bread.

One of the three rooms is on the ground floor and is fully adapted for wheelchair users: a 95 cm wide door, a lowered bed with adapted bedside table, a wheelchair-accessible walk-in shower with fold-down seat and grab rails, and a lowered washbasin. The entrance to the main house and the breakfast restaurant are barrier-free via paved garden paths. The inner garden has a level paved loop of a few dozen metres for a peaceful morning stroll.

Disabled parking spaces lie right next to the outbuilding. Lac des Doyards is five minutes' roll away via a paved route. The B&B is an ideal base for a quiet weekend in the East Ardennes, with outings to Stavelot, Malmedy or Bastogne half an hour's drive away. Reserve the adapted room a few weeks ahead in high season.
