The St Servatius Basilica of Grimbergen is one of the finest Baroque churches in Belgium and belongs to the historic Norbertine abbey of Grimbergen. Construction began in 1660, and the imposing dome and richly decorated confessionals bear witness to the peak of the Southern Netherlandish Baroque. The church has held the title of "basilica" since 1999. The organs and choir stalls present are of European calibre.

The basilica is well suited to wheelchair users. The main entrance has a ramp and the interior is entirely on one level. Wheelchair users can move around the large nave, the choir ambulatory and most side chapels. Adapted toilets can be found in the adjoining abbey building. The great beauty of the church can be admired from any angle, including from a wheelchair.

In front of the basilica lies a large, level, paved square with adapted reduced-mobility parking spaces. The Prinsenbos next to the abbey offers an accessible walk for wheelchair users after a visit. The basilica is reachable by De Lijn bus lines 230 and 231, which have low-floor boarding. Visitors with a disability card are admitted free of charge.
