Sports Complex Mons

The sports complex of Mons is a modern multifunctional infrastructure that includes a swimming pool, sports halls, and fitness rooms. The complex caters to both competitive athletes and recreational swimmers and seniors, and consciously invests in inclusive operation for people with a disability.

Accessibility is well arranged. The main entrance is step-free, and the ticket counters are partly lowered. Adapted changing rooms with a bench and a step-free shower are present, and a lift or ramp provides access to the recreational pool. A transfer chair can be used to safely enter and exit the water. Adapted toilets are spread across several locations.

Disabled parking spaces are available close to the entrance. Specific swimming sessions for persons with a disability are regularly organised. On presentation of the European Disability Card, a discount rate applies and the companion receives free admission. Advance reservation is recommended, especially for special sessions.
