Town Hall Wetteren

The Town Hall of Wetteren is the administrative centre of the municipality and houses the departments of civil affairs, spatial planning, social services and reception. Wetteren lies centrally in East Flanders on the Scheldt, between Ghent and Aalst. The building is centrally located within walking distance of the main shopping streets and the Markt.

The main entrance is step-free accessible for wheelchair users. Inside, the corridors are spacious and a lift connects the floors. The reception has a lowered counter for comfortable contact. An accessible toilet is available. For specific appointments (for example a wedding ceremony) it is advisable to call in advance so the staff can arrange the accessible flow with extra care.

Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. Combine your visit with the Public Library or the City Park within walking distance.
