B&B Het Volterras is in a quiet Ghent neighbourhood, within cycling distance of the historic centre with the Gravensteen, the Belfry and Saint Bavo's Cathedral. The bed & breakfast offers spacious rooms in a carefully restored house with a garden, where peace and hospitality are central. The generous breakfast with local and organic products is a firm favourite of returning guests.

A ground-floor guest room has been fully adapted with a roll-in shower, raised toilet, grab rails and enough manoeuvring room. The main entrance is step-free via a gentle ramp. The shared breakfast room is on the same level as the adapted room and is step-free. Guests with reduced mobility are asked about specific needs when booking.

The B&B has its own car park with accessible spaces close to the entrance, and the route from parking to house is paved. The surrounding streets are mostly paved, although there are some cobbled sections here and there. Accessible tram and bus stops to the centre of Ghent are a few minutes away on foot, served by low-floor vehicles.
