The lookout tower in the Pijnven forest is one of the highlights of Bosland adventure forest in Limburg. The slender wooden tower rises above the pine canopy and offers a sweeping view across the endless Limburg pine forests. The tower is reached via a paved forest path that starts at the Pijnven reception pavilion. The whole area is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers.

Accessibility is partial. The path to the foot of the tower is paved, level and wide enough for wheelchairs and prams. The foot of the tower itself is barrier-free; there is a resting spot with benches and panels explaining what can be seen from the higher platforms. The tower itself is reached by stairs and is therefore not accessible to wheelchair users. For those who cannot reach the highest platform, the panorama from ground level through the old pines is well worth the visit. An adapted toilet is at the reception pavilion.

Parking is available at the Pijnven reception building, with reserved spaces on paved surface. The distance from the car park to the foot of the tower is about half a kilometre over a paved path with limited slopes. A wheelchair-friendly rest point lies halfway. The reception building also has a cafeteria with a barrier-free entrance.
