B&B Minnewater Bruges
B&B Minnewater is a stone's throw from the romantic Minnewaterpark and the Beguinage of Bruges. The bed & breakfast occupies a historic townhouse overlooking the water and offers a few stylishly decorated rooms blending classic details with contemporary comfort. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room with a view over the garden.
One ground-floor room is adapted for wheelchair users, with a wide door, a lowered bed and an adapted bathroom with walk-in shower, fold-down seat and grab rails. The main entrance has a small threshold of about three centimetres, which is bridged with a portable ramp. The breakfast area and garden are on ground level. Other rooms are only reachable via a historic staircase.
Parking with a disabled permit is possible in a few reserved spaces along the Minnewater bridge. The 't Zand car park with an accessible lift is a ten-minute roll away via flat, paved paths. The approach to the Minnewater and the Beguinage via the paved park paths is comfortable; the rest of historic Bruges, unfortunately, has many cobbles.
