♿ Wheelchair accessible

B&B Villa Emma is housed in a beautiful Belle Époque villa in a quiet residential area of Ostend, five minutes by wheelchair from the beach and the promenade. The building was renovated with an eye for original details: sculpted fireplaces, restored stained-glass windows and an impressive staircase hall. The hostess combines the generous breakfast with home-made pastries and local fish.

The adapted ground-floor room has a wide door, a bed at a workable height and an adapted bathroom with walk-in shower, fold-down seat and grab rails. The main entrance has a small threshold of two centimetres, which is bridged with a portable ramp. The breakfast room is on ground level. The upper floors are only accessible via the monumental staircase.

The private car park provides reserved spaces for holders of a disabled permit. The surroundings are flat with wide, paved pavements. The Ostend promenade, fully accessible for wheelchairs, is a five-minute roll away. Combine your stay with a visit to Mu.ZEE or the accessible coastal tram that runs all along the seafront.
