Brasserie 't Klockhuys Diksmuide
Brasserie 't Klockhuys lies in the centre of Diksmuide, within walking distance of the belfry and the Grand Market. The restaurant serves an extensive menu of West Flemish classics such as Diksmuide sandwiches, eel in green sauce and beef stew, in a cosy brasserie setting. The square-side terrace is popular with tourists and regional visitors during the summer season.
The entrance is barrier-free thanks to a built-in ramp. The dining room on the ground floor is spaciously laid out with ample passage between the tables, making it comfortable for wheelchair users. An accessible toilet with grab bars and turning space is on the same floor. The staff take requests for a table in a suitable spot into account when booking.
The Grand Market and the immediate surroundings of the restaurant have been redesigned to be fully paved and flat, with lowered kerbs at the pedestrian crossings. A public car park with disabled parking spaces lies a few minutes wheelchair distance away. The brasserie is an ideal stop during a visit to the Yser Tower and other memorial sites in the Diksmuide area.
