Cafe Le Sphinx sits on the Place du Manege in the upper town of Charleroi, a stone's throw from the BPS22 art centre and Parc de la Broucheterre. The venue is a classic Walloon cafe with an extensive beer list of more than a hundred Belgian beers, simple bistro fare and a lively atmosphere thanks to regular performances by local musicians on Thursday evenings.

Accessibility is good. The main entrance on the Place du Manege is fully barrier-free, with a wide automatic door. The main dining room has a level floor and wide aisles between the tables and the bar. The bar has a lowered section at wheelchair height. The adapted toilets on the ground floor meet disabled-access standards with grab rails and ample turning space. The terrace on the square is reached on the level and opens in summer.

Parking with a blue badge is possible on the Place du Manege and in the underground car park beneath the Place Charles II, five minutes' roll away. The venue is ideally placed for those exploring Parc de la Broucheterre or the BPS22 art centre and seeking a pleasant rest stop or evening venue. Open seven days a week from 11:00 until midnight.
